	Increase solidarity amongst fisheries groups, increase capacity of fisheries cooperatives, support conservation of fisheries based coastal eco-systems, identification of community problems through tribunal processes, emergency response to disasters, long term recovery of disaster affected coastal communities, disaster preparedness of vulnerable coastal communities, expansion of livelihood options of fisher folk, addressing legal problems of coastal communities, sustainable , inclusive and environment sensitive coastal tourism development.

	- Preventing development aggression from hurting traditional fisheries activities
