on Rio+20' the people's campaign oriented
towards the United Nations Conference on
Sustainable Development (Rio+20) held
in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. |

The movement
expanded the penetration of its development
paradigm to the newly free areas in the
north and east as a priority action aimed at
mainstreaming victims of conflict, engineer
cross-ethnic harmony and launch Sri Lankan
civil society into the next decade with
adequate weaponry to combat the food,
energy, climate and financial crises. |

The movement
formulated a cross-sector strategy to
engineer a paradigm shift from individualism
to collectivism as citizens of the country
and from black to green technologies as
social economic entities and gains the full
support of the government, private, civil,
academic and media sectors in implementing
the same. |

The movement
formally expanded its activities into every
aspect of sustainable development and is
recognized across sectors as the leading
voice in environment regenerative

The GMSL
restructured itself as an environment

work winds down, and the GMSL geared itself

tsunami-affected areas of the country. |
